HVAC service across the Upstate and the lakes.
Exceptional Comfort Services is a family-run HVAC shop based in Pickens, and we cover a good stretch of the Upstate from there: the towns east toward Greenville, the lake communities west around Keowee, and the rural foothills in between. Below is where we work and what each area tends to need. If you don't see your town, it doesn't mean we can't reach you, so call and ask. We answer our own phones, and we'll tell you straight whether your address is in range.

Find your town and what we cover.
Each of these has its own page with the local details, the services we run there, and real reviews from the area.
Pickens
Home base. Our shop is on Wolf Creek Road, so a Pickens call is the fastest response we offer, on older rural systems and in-town homes alike.
Easley
Right next door and a regular run for us, with quick turnarounds for homeowners and realtors who need a unit looked at before a closing.
Greer
The GSP airport and BMW growth corridor, where we sort out the early problems new construction tends to hide (29650, 29651, 29652).
Seneca
The gateway to the lakes, where in-town houses and lakefront builds ask very different things from their HVAC.
Greenville
The Upstate's biggest market, served the family-run way: honest diagnosis, fair price, and a real person on the phone.
Oconee County
Walhalla to the water. Rural foothills and lake homes both, with the generator and humidity work the area actually needs.
The smaller Upstate towns we reach.
We cover plenty of smaller communities that don't have their own page, mostly through our work in the nearby towns and the local service area around our Pickens shop. If you're in one of these, you're in range:
Liberty, Powdersville, Six Mile, Central, Clemson, Sunset, Salem, Travelers Rest, Taylors, and Mauldin, along with the surrounding rural areas. For these towns, the fastest way to know we can reach you is simply to call.

The lakes are a specialty, not a side note.
Lake Keowee and the communities around it carry homes that ask more of their HVAC than a typical house: heavier humidity off the water, open floor plans, and second homes that sit empty part of the year. Most companies treat a lake home like a standard service call with a nicer view. We don't.
If you own on or near the water, our Lake Home HVAC page walks through how we handle second homes, humidity and dehumidification, mini-split zoning, and storm backup. Lake Jocassee is the one exception we're honest about, since it's too far for us to promise the response those homes deserve.
